Cell Phone Policy

LPHS students are allowed to use their electronic devices at any moment during the class time only with the exception that it is of productive use. This does not mean using such devices to cheat, harassing others, and taking unauthorized photographs of others. To ensure that electronic devices are put to productive use, we ask students to notify the teacher that they will use their devices. If students fail to use their devices in a productive way or do not notify a teacher, they will be asked to put it away. Failure to comply will result in a possible warning and/or the confiscation of the device.

Homework

At LPHS, teachers will make a huge effort to ensure that their students go home without any homework, therefore, teachers normally do not assign homework. However, teachers do encourage and stress the importance of studying at home. The work assigned to a student during a class period is very possible to be completed during the class period. Any assignment that is uncompleted during the class day, will result in the assignment becoming homework for the student.

Attire

Shirt: Plain, solid black, purple or white, Shirts must be tucked in.

Pants/Belt: Khaki-colored pants. Pants are to be worn at the waist with a black belt. No sagging allowed.

Shorts: Khaki-colored shorts need to be no higher than mid-thigh in length.

Skirts: Khaki-colored skirts. Skirts need to be no higher than top of the knee in length.

Sweatshirts: Sweatshirts are to be solid black or solid white. If the sweatshirt has a hood, it must be off indoors.

Jackets: Jackets are to be solid black or solid white.

Hats: Plain black or white and must be off indoors.
